American Airlines Admirals Club Flagship Lounge at Terminal 8, New York JFK International Airport. The Flagship Lounge is for First Class Passengers, as well as AA Executive Platinum and oneWorld Emerald members traveling internationally. It is located near the TSA Security Check Point, before the walkway to the satellite terminal. (The regular Admirals Club is located at the satellite terminal.)

McQueen at the Met

I knew early on that one of the highlights of my New York visit this time would be the retrospective of Fashion’s Alexander McQueen at the Met Museum; and it did not disappoint. The only wish I had was for the museum to be emptier so I could enjoy the exhibition more.

Impressions from South Africa, 1965 to Now:”
The South African Political Posters and Prints are on display at the New York Museum of Modern Art. Among others is this political poster, depicting a frolicking couple of wrestlers, the White Guilt and the Black Power.
The work is on view March 23–August 14, 2011.
